I often refer to my photos as my memory.
Certain vistas in nature are magnetic and conjure an inexplicable, almost magical, calming power for me. I consider some landscapes almost like a visual elixir. I like to try and capture their vibrant, inherent serenity, a bucolic balm.
The nostalgia of being able to return some of these places is fragile and mutable.
Sometimes the image is intact in memory and frozen in its grace. Other times, it’s more difficult to recapture, through the mind’s window screen.
I’m experimenting with dot components, as dancing building blocks to reconstruct some moments of nostalgic memory.
